Scientists to View NASA's Proposals For Moon Satellite

About 70 scientists will examine preliminary plans today for an unmanned moon-orbiting spacecraft proposed by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Edward D. Martin, manager of advance programs for NASA's Lunar Programs Office, said yesterday.

The scientists, who include George C. Weiffenbach '49, associate director for the Center for Astrophysics, Edward M. Gapaschkin, an associate of the center, and Paul C. Gorenstein, an associate of the center and a lecturer on Astronomy, will meet at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., to discuss the spacecraft before submitting experiment proposals, Martin said.
