A three-member jury of music educators last night failed to name a winner in the Harvard concerto contest. The deadlocked panel announced after the more than three-hour competition that a runoff will be held next Wednesday night.

Performers in the competition at Paine Hall last night were violinists Lynn Chang '75 and Robert Portney '75; cellist David Commanday '76; and planist Hao Huang '78.
