The Faculty Council last week began considering a set of proposed reforms of the Committee on Rights and Responsibilities (CRR), which the members of the disciplinary body drafted two weeks ago.

The proposals would add more students to the CRR, establish an appeals board for committee decisions, and disallow hearsay evidence from CRR hearings.

Charles P. Whitlock, associate dean of the Faculty, said the Faculty Council may discuss the matter with some of the students the CRR suspended for their participation in the 1972 takeover of Massachusetts Hall.
