The Harvard Corporation yesterday settled on its first choice as a replacement for retiring fellow Albert L. Nickerson '33. If the first choice accepts the offer, final approval from both the Corporation and the Harvard Board of Overseers is scheduled to take place on November 17.
Before making its selection, the Corporation discussed three finalists, all New Yorkers with a financial background. The individual chosen has not yet been notified by the Corporation, since he is supposedly in Europe. However, sources say he is likely to accept the offer to join the Corporation.
