Crimson Harriers Conclude Season

The Crimson harriers conclude their season this afternoon as they participate in the annual IC4A meet in Van Cortland Park, the Bronx. Harvard passed up this meet as a team last year, and sent four individual runners instead.

Today, though, the entire team will be participating against the best runners from the east coast. The top four New England teams in the IC4A's will qualify for the NCAA's next Saturday, as will the top eight individual performers who are not from these teams.

At the team's annual banquet this week, three members of the Harvard crosscountry contingent were honored.

Junior Jeff Campbell was elected next year's captain; this year's captain, Bill Okerman, won the Don Finch Award for leadership; and sophomore star Peter Fitzsimmons was recognized for the improvement which he has displayed during the fall as he was accorded the Mikkolo Award.
