In an interview yesterday, Dean Rosovsky bemoaned the passing of the Committee on Educational Policy (CEP), a high-level Faculty group that was supplanted five years ago by the Faculty Council.

Under the CEP, Rosovsky said, "there was closer supervision of education than there is now"--things like new courses and requirements. He said he may consider bringing back some ongoing educational review board.
