Yes, Virginia, the World Series is not the only sporting event taking place in these parts today. Five Harvard varsity squads will be taking on various collegiate opponents, in the busiest weekend of the spring to date.
In addition to the Harvard-Columbia football clash, the Crimson will also square off against the Lions in the Ivy soccer opener this morning at 10:30 on the Business School field.
An hour later, the gun will sound at Franklin Park as the Crimson harriers seek their first victory against Brown. The Radcliffe field hockey and tennis teams will each be facing opponents from Williams, and, on top of all this, the water poloists face Yale this afternoon at 4:30 in the IAB. Now, who needs Yaz and Lynn, anyway?
