The phenomenal freshman basketball squad rolled to its seventh straight victory last night, crushing Northeastern, 109-71. The win marked the third time this season the yardlings have topped the 100 point mark, as the team handed Dartmouth a 100-91 defeat Monday evening.
Roland Smart led all scorers with 20 points, as four Crimson players tallied in the double figures. Guard Glenn Fine chipped in 17 and forwards Roosevelt Cox and Cyrus Booker each contributed 14 points to the whelping of the Huskies in the pre game show to the Varsity Beanpot contest.
John Barros, master of the Husky pups, drew a pair of technicals in the contest and was then ejected for pushing one of the referees.
