The Harvard Employees' Organizing Committee (HEOC) this week informally affiliated itself with District 65 of the Distributive Workers of America, a New York-based union of clerical and technical workers. District 65, now engaged in a widespread unionization drive on college campuses, has an active chapter at the Medical School that has been working closely with the Cambridge-based HEOC.
