If the past is a criterion, you can be sure that Harvard won't budge one iota as far as offering the printers more money, because Harvard never negotiates but delivers ultimatums.

Everybody knows that the cost of living went up slightly more than 10 per cent last year and has been going up every month this year and generous Harvard delivered the printers an ultimatum--take 5.5 per cent or we phase you out.

Our advice to the printers is to accept the 5.5 and go out pimping to support your families: P.S. This advice applies also to the vastly underpaid tutors and many professors. A Harvard Employee   (Name withheld by request)
