The Intercollegiate Rowing Association's 72nd annual regatta will get underway this Thursday with the second largest fleet in the history of the event. 79 crews from 22 schools will participate.

Wisconsin, the defending champion, is favored to win its third crown since 1966, with MIT, California, Northeastern, Penn and Cornell expected to pose the most serious challenges.
