Kirkland House captured the House Crew championships in both the A and B classes Tuesday.

In an exciting A race, Lowell House led the pack for most of the 1500-meter distance before a surge by Kirkland nipped the Bell-House men at the finish for an exciting one-seat win.

The other finishers in the A race were, in this order, Quincy, Eliot and Mather.

Kirkland topped the field in the B race too, finishing the 1000-meter distance in front of Mather, Eliot, Lowell and Quincy.
