The Northeastern freshman heavyweight crew team nosed out all three Harvard freshman lightweight boats in a practice race on the Charles Saturday. The first N.U. boat finished the 2000 meter course in 6:37.9 with the Yardling first boat at 6:39. The second Husky boat had a 6:51.3 time, with Harvard following at 6:52. The third N.U. boat had a 6:57 clocking and the Crimson came in at 7:00.
Frosh coach Dick Prentke said, "We really rowed well, as Northeastern has an excellent crew. It was good practice for us."
