Four dermatologists at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) announced yesterday a radical new treatment for psoriasis, a genetic skin disease that affects 8 million persons in this country, and an estimated 75 million world-wide.

Drs. Thomas B. Fitzpatrick, Wigglesworth professor of Dermatology, John A. Parrish, an assistant professor of Dermatology, Lewis Tannenbaum, a clinical fellow in dermatology, and Madhukar A. Pathak authored the report.
