Dean Rosovsky had originally scheduled a discussion of his "Letter to the Faculty on Undergraduate Education" for last month's Faculty meeting, but then postponed the discussion to make room for a last-minute resolution on the student files law.

On Monday Faculty members will get an invitation from Rosovsky to an "informal discussion" of the letter and undergraduate education in general, to replace the scheduled Faculty meeting discussion.

The informal discussion, to be held later this month, will not be open to the public or the press. Rosovsky said this week he may invite some student committee members but that "it's essentially a Faculty discussion--I don't see why newspapers should be there."
