Yale and Princeton Undefeated; Share Ivy Lead With Harvard

Don Gesicki scored three times as Yale routed Columbia 42-2 to remain undefeated. Yale now leads the nation in defense, having yielded only four points per game.

Princeton also remained unbeaten by defeating Colgate 33-24. Walt Snicken-berger rushed for 138 yards and three touchdowns for the Tigers. This is the fourth game in which he has rushed for over 100 yards.

Brown and Dartmouth had a real defensive battle in a game that produced one touchdown and two field goals, with Dartmouth finally winning out, 7-6.

The highlight of the game was John Souba's 51-yard run for the game-winning Quaker victory.

Penn defeated Lafayette, in a non-league contest, 37-7. Penn's quarterback, Marty Vaughn hit 11 of 18 passes for 188 yards and 4 touchdowns, enroute to the Quaker victory.
