NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Mickey Mantle and Whitey Ford, two keystones in the last years of the New York Yankee dynasty, entered baseball's Hall of Fame together yesterday.

Mantle became the seventh man ever to enter the Hall of Fame in his first first year of eligibility, while this is Ford's second year as a nominee.

Eligibility for membership in the Hall of Fame is determined by the vote of members of the Baseball Writers Association of America.
