The week's most unusual film event is Saturday's showing of two works by James Ivory, listed in Peter Cowie's standard "International Film Guide" as one of this year's five outstanding directors. Just why, I'm not sure, but any film titled Helen. Resnais's documentary on the concentration camps, Night and Fog. Two sides of what that strange dream was like.
