Jon F. Spayde '73, of North House and Fairfield, Iowa, won first place in the Boylston Prize oratorical competition held Wednesday night. Freddie D. McClendon '74, of Adams House and Oakland, Calif., won second prize. Contestants memorize and deliver any selection from English literature in competition for the $150 first prize and $100 second prize.
