Ewart Guinier '33, chairman of the Afro-American Studies Department, said yesterday that the Afro library, which has been closed since last week, will reopen today.
Guinier explained that his Department had been forced to close the library last week because it could not find work-study students to man the library during its regular hours.
Revised Hours
"Since we only use work-study students as librarians, I've had to revise the hours to meet the schedules of the people we have hired," Guinier said.
The Afro library will now be opened daily from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. except Thursday and Sunday.
