Billionaire Investor Gerald Chan Under Scrutiny for Neglect of Historic Harvard Square Theater
Yale's frosh cagers dumped Harvard last night in the IAB, 82-73, and added another win to their perfect string of 13.
The Elis led all the way in a ho-hum contest that was characterized by sloppy play and myriad turnovers by both teams.
Crimson guard Kevin McLaughlin shined for Harvard, racking up eight assists and 21 points to lead all scorers. McLaughlin's efforts proved futile in the face of fine scoring distribution by the Blue, which had four of five starters in double figures.
Yale played a cautious, ball-control offense and gained a 13 point lead at the half, 65-48. In the second period, the game turned into a foul-ridden running contest and superior outside shooting stretched the Blue margin to as much as 20 at one point.

The Crimson, led by McLaughlin, attempted to come from behind in the closing minutes and managed to narrow the Eli lead to eight, with four minutes remaining. The Yale's Bruce McKenna dumped in two quick buckets to nail shut the Crimson coffin.
Eli coach Jim Morgan said he was not happy about his ball club's second half.
"I don't know whether you lose your killer-instinct after winning so many games or what. All I know is we can't let that happen again," he said glumly.
