The Radcliffe Insitute has established a fellowship in honor of Ethel C. Higonnet, a former fellow of the Institute and associate of Adams House.
Higonnet, the wife of Patrick L. Higonnet '58, professor of History, was shot near Brattle St. on November 26 and died shortly after in Mt. Auburn Hospital.
The Collegium Musicum, directed by F. John Adams, lecturer on music, will perform the Mozart Requiem in memory of Ethel Higonnet at 8 p.m., December 16, in Memorial Church.
The Radcliffe Institute and the immediate family are accepting contributions in lieu of flowers. The proceeds will finance future Radcliffe fellows.
The Institute is part of Radcliffe's fellowship program. It awards scholarships primarily to women who are interested in pursuing post-doctoral study. All Radcliffe fellows hold Corporation appointments.
The Adams House Committee has recently appealed to the members of Adams House for contributions to the fund.
