The balloting opened yesterday for the First Annual Pizza Hut Basketball Classic, and among the nation's top 100 senior collegians getting votes are the Crimson's James Brown and Floyd Lewis.
Brown and Lewis, along with Gene Doyle of Holy Cross and Mike Boylan of Assumption, are the four Massachusetts nominees on the ballot for the East team, to be coached by Ohio State's Fred Taylor Eight players on each team, the Red (East) and the White (West), will be elected by popular vote, and two others on each squad will be selected by a national coaching media panel.
The contest will be played for charity in the Las Vegas Convention Center April 14 and is sanctioned by the NCAA and NAIA. Ballots are available at all Pizza Huts and participating universities.
