A two-run homer in the tenth inning last night gave the Boston Red Sox a 4-2 victory over the Baltimore Orioles. The Sox remain one and a half games in front of the Detroit Tigers in their bid for the American League East title. Carl Yastrzemski ripped the two run homer that eliminated the Orioles from the pennant race.
