Harvard's rugby team fared poorly at the National College Championships in Lexington. Va. last weekend. The Crimson dropped an 18-13 decision to Georgia in the first round, and was subsequently shut out by Kentucky, 9-0, in the consolation game.

Palmer College of Davenport, Iowa shocked the field with 36-0 and 52-6 victories over Kentucky and Texas in the early going, then overhauled Navy in the second half to win the title, 28-17.
