CHOICE NOT AN ECHO

To the Editors of the Crimson:

Crimson readers should know that on the vital issue of the Middle East one candidate-Shirley Chisholm-is offering a choice rather than an echo. Whereas other candidates sound like Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesmen. Chisholm has courageously recognized that there can be no Arab-Israeli peace without justice for the Palestinians.

Whether or not one agrees with Chisholm, the public-including supporters of Israel and those who seek a candidate free of the Israel lobby-has been illserved by the media which have failed to inform Americans as to the substantive positions held by Presidential candidates on vital issues.
