The following are the results of the Crimson Presidential Preference Poll. The candidate's name is followed by the number and he percentage of votes received.
Sen, George S. McGovern, 1822, 74 per cent; Rep, Shirley Chisholm 282, 11 per cent; Sen. Edmund S. Muskie, 141, 6 Per cent; Gov. George C. Wallace, 67, 2 per cent; Sen. Hubert H. Humphrey 51, 2 per cent; Mayor John V. Lindsay, 48, 1 per cent; Eugene J. McCarthy, 36, 1 per cent; Sen. Henry Jackson, 28, 1 per cent.
The following received less than one per cent; Ned Coll, Wilbur Mills, Vance Hartke.
