Medical, Dental Schools Raise 1972 Tuition Fees

Tuition at the Medical School and the Dental School will increase by $250 at the start of the next academic year, Robert H. Ebert, Dean of the Medical School Faculty, announced yesterday.

The governing boards of the Medical School approved the increase--the first in three years--at yesterday's regular meeting.

Ebert said in announcing the increase that "mounting costs of faculty and employee salaries as well as higher maintenance and operation costs of the physical plant have made the increase necessary."
