Combining a parent offense and a tenacious ball hawking defense, the Harvard junior varsity basketball team destroyed an outmanned squad from Chamberlayne Junior College. 118-53, last night in the IAB.
The victory pushed the record of Coach Bob Hart's squad to 3-0. Four players hit for over twenty points against Chamberlayne. Sophomore Lew Brown led the Crimson attack with 25 points. He was followed closely by Jeff Wheat with 23 points and Len Adams. who hit for 21 Mike Griffin rounded out the four by scoring 20.
The Crimson tan a well executed attack, while playing a tight man-to-man defense. The squad committed only 10 turnovers as it completed its last game before Christmas.
