Hull Restrained From Playing

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Bobby Hull, former Chicago Block Hawk star and currently a player-coach with the Winnepeg Jets, was restrained yesterday from playing in the World Hockey Association by a Circuit Count order.

Judge Francis F. Delaney signed the order following the failure of the WHA to post a $2.5 million bond to insure against damages to the NHL. A Philadelphia judge set November 20 as the deadline for the WHA to poet the bond.

Since the bond wasn't posted. Delaney took the action. The Block Hawks are trying to prevent Hull from playing in the WHA under the NHL's reserve clause. Up until yesterday, it appeared as if the way had been cleared for Hull to play with the Jets.
