Daily Sun to Challenge Crimson Streak

The Sun is rising out of Ithaca N.Y. And this morning it's going to set on Soldiers Field. For the Harvard Crimson touch football team, riding the crest of a 301-game winning streak, today's contest will be a practical lesson in eclipse making, when it meets the Cornell Daily Sun.

The Sun attack boasts a 27-year old Vietnam vet who once practiced with Roger Staubach on the sands of Saigon, a high school pal of Brown's Nino Moscardi (a dubious distinction), and a three-letter late-night scorer for San Miguel High.

The Crimson, decimated by a rash of LSAT injuries, will have to rely--on the passing arm of Deac "Chic" Dake, captain and interim quarterback. The Crime will also miss coach Tex Decherd who has resigned for the game.

Decherd will be replaced by Dapper Dan Swanson. Swanson plans to revolutionize the Crimson attack.

"We'll be running the Henning-bone attack (named after Yale blocking back Hurrican Hennings)," Swanson said yesterday. "We'll push to the left and use a lot of audibles."

Game time is 9:45 a.m. behind the Stadium.
