To the Editors of the Crimson:

Thank you very much for the fine coverage you accorded our squash "exploits." Since the article and picture appeared, we have had many more inquiries about our women's squash program at Radcliffe--a true indication that a little publicity can do so much to spur women into active participation in sports.

Squash is not the only sport which we are trying to "revive" at Radcliffe this year. We are also putting out a Varsity basketball team, with a 10-game schedule starting in late January. I hope that this group will also be given their share of publicity...

Again, thank you for the publicity. I am not a "feminist" advocate, but I do wish to work toward recognition of female athletes. I hope that the Crimson will continue to share some of its sports pages with the women athletes of this college. Peria M. Hewes
