The Crimson lacrosse team will be under tremendous pressure against Dartmouth Saturday in Hanover. Not that the Indians are a talented squad. Dartmouth is so weak that Harvard will be under pressure to avoid an embarrassing loss.
Unfortunately, the Crimson's ego has suffered three times in the past five years. Since 1966, the Indians have won only three League games, one by forfeit, and Harvard has had the honor of being the victim each time. Two years ago the Crimson traveled to Hanover hoping for a share of the League title and returned with mud on its face.
Since things couldn't get worse, Dartmouth has improved this spring. Led by top scorer and captain Mike Diaz, the Indians have won two non-League games this year.
