8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
The CRIMSON incorrectly reported yesterday that the four masters of the all-male Houses are opposed to the CHUL coed living plan. The reporter responsible failed to contact, Alan Heimert, Master of Eliot House, who has vigorously supported the plan.
Explaining his position last night, Heimert said "Far from disagreeing with the OHUL plan, I heartily support it, I've endorsed it, argued for it, and was instrumental in urging that women should live in the Houses of their choice.
"I do not conceive of women as swimming pools or squash courts, but as human beings who should be able to live where they want to, and I do not think that the goal of the House system is uniformity."
The CRIMSON regrets the error.
