The Radcliffe tennis team opens its season today with a 4 p. m. match against Simmons at the Radcliffe Courts. Radcliffe defeated Simmons last year, 4-1, on the way to a 2-2 record.
Coach Jean Evans is confident of victory in today's match.
Meg Morgan, Joy Skon and Amy Moss will be playing singles for Radcliffe. Kathy Day and Terry Steiner will be playing at first doubles, Penny Moorhead and Jackie Wolf at second doubles.
On Saturday. Radcliffe travels to Princeton to face a women's team headed by two nationally ranked players. The high point of the season will come on May 6 when Radcliffe hosts the first joint tournament including the Seven Sisters schools and the Ivy League. Fourteen teams will participate in the two-day tourney.
