Matthews Takes Weld in Hockey

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Matthews defeated Weld, 4-2, last night to win the Yardling intramural hockey championship. Matthews was led by Steve Kidder, who tallied two goals in the victory. Bill Schley and Nino Kanter also scored for the winners.

The TV 38 Seventh Player Award went to Matthews' Tom Wales. "I have to thank my mother, who bought me my first pair of skates when I was only four," Wales said.

He used the same skates in the championship game.
