Exhibiting an amazingly aggressive full-court press from the starting jump, the CRIMSON romped over a weakly challenger, 23-2. last night at the IAB.

The CRIMSON press, spearheaded by 6' 6" guard Dick Sontgerath, kept the opposition from ever getting the ball across half court and quickly ran the score up to 15-0. Frustrated, the losing team retaliated by scoring four baskets at the CRIMSON end of the court.

The CRIMSON lost its bid for a shutout when announcer Rufus Peebles hiccuped and hit the scoreboard switch instead of the final buzzer.
