Cornell halfback Ed Marinaro this year became the first player ever selected unanimously for the Coaches' All-Ivy League football team in each of his three varsity seasons. Marinaro gained the first place votes of all seven opposing Ivy coaches, as he did his previous two seasons.

Five other players received unanimous votes, including Harvard defensive back Dave Ignacio and Dartmouth offensive tackles Joe Leslie and Wayne Young.

Penn end Don Clune, Columbia quarterback Don Jackson and linebacker Paul Kaliades, Princeton halfback Hank Bjorkland and Cornell defensive back Don Jean all received 13 out of a possible 14 votes.

Dartmouth led the team with five selections, followed by Columbia, Cornell, Harvard and Princeton with four each, Yale with two and Penn and Brown with one each.

The coaches also picked the following players: defensive end Tom Csatari, defensive back Jack Manning and place-kicker Ted Perry from Dartmouth; offensive end Jesse Parks and defensive end Mike Evans from Columbia; guard Steve Curtis, defensive tackle Bob Saunders and linebacker Joe Parsons from Princeton; and center Walt Starck, defensive end Mitch Berger and tackle Mark Steiner from Harvard.

Offensive back Dick Jauron, just edging out Harvard's Ted DeMars, and offensive tackle Matt Jordan represented Yale on the team and punter Jim Colby was Brown's only choice.

Parks, Marinaro, Bjorkland and Jauron all were chosen for a second year and Steiner, Kaliades and Jean moved up from the second team. Leslie, Starck, Jackson, Young, Manning and Colby all advanced from last year's honorable mention list.

Offensive back Ted Demars and linebackers Mark Ferguson and Jack Neal made the second team from Harvard. Princeton led second team selections with six, Dartmouth had five, Brown and Yale four each, Harvard and Penn three each and Columbia had one.

Offensive, end Dennis, Sullivan, offensive back Rich Gatto, defensive back Barry Malinowski and punter Jim Stoeckel made the honorable mention list from Harvard.
