Columbia quarterback Don Jackson has been named the Ivy League Back of the Week after leading the Lions to a come from behind victory over previously undefeated Dartmouth.
Jackson had 12 completions in 26 pass attempts for 160 yards. Though the yardage is not overwhelming. Jackson's gains came in very key situations.
After trading touchdowns, in the second and third quarters, Dartmouth gained a 29-28 lead in the fourth quarter, Jackson came back with two clutch plays, passing to end Mike Jones for 36 yards. A six-yard run set up Paul Kaliades' game winning 34 yard field goal which came in the last 48 seconds in the game.
