The Harvard "B" Rugby team was defeated yesterday by the Harvard Business School "B" team 4-0. At 4 p.m. today, the Harvard "A" team will try to avenge yesterday's loss as they go against the Business Schools A team at Soldiers Field.
The first quarter started out slow as both teams had to battle against a strong cross-wind. Each team drove deep into their opponent's territory, but neither succeeded in scoring.
Slow Start
Because of both teams' slow start the game was scoreless at the half.
The Business School came on strong in the second half, penetrating deep into Harvard territory. Rob Klugman of the B-School broke two blocks and ran in for a try. The conversion was unsuccessful but the B-School still led 4-0.
Harvard came back determined, and almost scored as junior Ken Otto ran within one yard of the goal line before being forced bounds. Tempers flared on both sides as the two teams battled for good field position, but the game ended as Harvard failed to score in the final minutes.
