Boston Strikers Will Rally Here

By Michael J. Bishop

Boston-area protesters of Nixon's recent invasion of Cambodia will meet at Soldiers' Field for a rally at 4 p.m. this afternoon.

Marches from eight locations in the Boston area- including a group scheduled to leave the Cambridge Common at 3 p.m.- will meet at the field, adjacent to Harvard Stadium.

The rally, originally planned for the Stadium, was moved after engineers told the University and the Boston Mayor's office that 30 of the 37 sections were not safe and could not accommo-date the 50,000 to 150,000 demonstrators expected to attend.

Rally Speakers

Speakers at the rally will include a Kent State student, a labor union speaker, a Fort Dix G.I., a Quincy High School student, and a member of Bread and Roses.

M.I.T. linguistics professor Noam Chomsky, recently returned from Hanoi, will also address the rally, as well as the vice-president of the striking Boston College student body. The Student Mobe, the Moratorium, NAC, and SDS will also provide speakers.

Marches to the rally will leave from Boston City Hall, Boston Common, Northeastern, Boston University, M.I.T., Tufts, Boston College, as well as from the Cambridge Common.
