Boston Maintains Airline Schedu??es

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Logan International Airport reported little interruption in scheduled ???? today as all Boston air traffic control ???? reported for work, despite a slowdown which has crippled airline serv??? in other major cities.

Because of tie-ups elsewhere in the East, most flights from Logan were ?? delayed one or two hours-but there was no significant backlog of passengers.

New York, Washington, and Cleve ? and were hit hardest by the slowdown, and several airlines cancelled flights from Boston to those cities.

Boston Still Vulnerable

The Professional Air Traffic Controllers Organization (PATCO) has refused to reveal how ?xtensive the slowdown will become, and so for the next few days, airline service in Boston will be open to disruption.

PATCO has ordered the slowdown to dramatize its demands for highter wages, more controllers, and modernized equipment.

The Federal government obtained a court injunction yesterday ordering the air controllers back to work.
