On the strength of expert passing and forechecking, the freshman hockey team built a 5-0 lead in the game's first 22 minutes, and then hung on to beat Dartmouth, 7-4, last night at Hanover.

In winning its eight consecutive game, the Crimson upped its record to 10-1 Davey Hynes paced the Yardlings with three goals.

While Dartmouth had difficulty in the first period clearing its zone. Harvard scored three of its first four goals off good passes.

The freshmen will clash with Andover today at 4 p.m. at Watson.
