To the Editors of the CRIMSON:
There are a number of misstatements in Messrs. Blatt and Robin's letter on last Friday's trial, but there is one particularly irresponsible fabrication that should not stand uncorrected.
When Judge Viola ordered the courtroom cleared, the Harvard officials present twice started to leave but were told by police officers to remain temporarily in the room. We were then asked to leave by a back door and were escorted to an office where we sat by ourselves for about ten minutes before returning to Harvard. Contrary to what the letter states, no Harvard official or witness conferred in any way with Judge Viola or any court officer about the trial. To do so would, of course, have been extremely improper.
