Foster Named Back of Week

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Harvard quarterback Rod Foster, who earlier this week was selected as ECAC Sophomore of the Week, has also been named Ivy Back of the Week for his performance against Penn Saturday.

Foster's passing, running, punting, and kick returning were impressive enough to earn him the Ivy honor despite great performances by a few other backs in the league. Hank Bjorklund, for example, gained 220 yards to lead Princeton over Brown and take the Ivy rushing lead from Ed Marinaro.

Foster now ranks ninth in total offense, sixth in passing, seventh in punting, and fourth in scoring in Ivy statistics.
