Colburn, Bingham Award-Winner, To Get Married This Afternoon

Keith Colburn is getting married.

Colburn, who captained both the cross country and track teams last year while a senior here, will marry Betsy Patterson, a Wellesley graduate, this afternoon in Hampton Bay, N.Y.

The wedding was scheduled for today so that members of this year's cross country team could attend. But the Columbia-Penn-Harvard meet, usually run on Friday, was switched to Saturday this fall.

But the time of the meet, which will be in New York's Van Corflandt Park, has been advanced from 1:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. so that the Harvard runners will have a better chance of attending the reception. Efforts were reportedly made to move it up further, but they were unsuccessful.
