A Harvard student was arrested Monday night when police raided a rented house in Weston, Mass. that contained over $5,000 dollars worth of chemicals and equipment used in the manufacturing of LSD.
Brian Carty '71 of Cross St., Belmont, and Lynwood L. Lamarre, 21, of Williams St., Cambridge, were arraigned at the Waltham District Court on charges of manufacturing narcotics, a misdeamor for a first offense.
Both men were released on $5,000 bail each. Their cases have been continued until August 18.
According to police--who had been watching the house for some time--they found a large amount of equipment as well as over 20 jars of chemicals, including six of ether.
