HSA Statement

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

(Richard T. Howe '69, president of HSA, released the following statement yesterday.)

Harvard Student Agencies, Inc., recognizes its obligation to its linen subscribers. We cannot provide linen at this time because of the clear threat of violence on the part of SDS. This decision is motivated by our desire to avoid exposing other members of the community to the kind of violence that occurred last Friday.

HSA is currently working out the details of a refund to its customers for the period in which linen has not been provided because of the Gordon Linen strike.

We are exploring all available alternatives and will attempt to keep out cusomers informed of any further decisions.
