A woman from Galveston, Texas, Martha Aly, has been appointed the first Director of Basic Instruction in Physical Education for Women at Yale University. Miss Aly is unmarried and comes to Yale after 11 years as a member of the physical education staff at the University of Illinois at Urbana.
