8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
After winning its first three meets, the freshman track team should not have any problem winning again when it faces a weak team from Andover in the Stadium this afternoon.
Andover's pole vaulter Chris St. Lawrence is likely to lead his team to a one-two finish in that event. There is some consolation, however, since St. Lawrence will be a freshman at Harvard in the fall. But otherwise, the Crimson should dominate.
Will Sweep Weights
The Yardlings will probably sweep the weights with Jack Driscoll earning victories in both the shot put and the hammer throw. Sprinter Ed Diamond also has a good chance to record a double win.
Captain Bobby Seals will not be running today. Seals injured an achilles tendon in practice recently, and coach Pappy Hunt does not want to use him until his ailment heals.
